The Hidden Face has only one flaw, the trailer. I envy those who managed to see it without being attracted by the trailer. It spoils everything. Imagine that the trailer of The Sixth Sense revealed that the character of Bruce Willis... You know what... It would still be a great film, but it would spoil the surprise and some of the tension. Nevertheless, the premise of the film is original and novel. At times I found the behaviour of the main female characters a bit illogical and unlikely, but it doesn't change the rating. Anyway, the main character deserves a good slap for her actions. I would sum it up with the saying: he who digs another man's hole... (07/28/2016)

As is often the case with me, I didn't know what I was getting into, so I'm glad I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I was downright pleased. Sure, the creators probably wouldn’t get an award for scheming because I realized what their plan was sooner than they might have liked, but it didn't spoil my mood in any way. The trailer attracted me. But it’s a pity that it attracted me with something that the film doesn’t reveal until the middle as the “main surprise”, so my impression is distorted because I didn’t watch it the way I should. Regardless, The Hidden Face was fun and I’m really satisfied. Nicely put together. (04/29/2012)

Now that was a real blast. Even though the movie initially appears to be something that won't really captivate you, with a romance that works but isn't exceptional, suddenly there's a turning point you just didn't expect. It is very well scripted, but equally well directed. The camera work is very well done, enhancing the overall experience. (08/26/2015)

Yeah, it’s a nicely put together fairytale about “revenge from beyond the grave”, but my main problem with it is that you are expected to root for a character who doesn’t deserve it and is very stupid and unlikeable. That doesn’t change the fact that the second half is juicy, with lots of self-sufficient ideas that take it to a satisfactory ending. The fourth star is only for the breasts of the plainer (and prettier and more likeable) of the heroines. (04/09/2020)
