An unexpected gem for almost a full score. Sherlock Holmes turned out great in Hong Kong style. There are familiar faces, the protagonist is an intelligent detective who tries to put himself in the shoes of the victim in every case, meaning he is forced to go through interesting and dangerous things in order to crack the case, and that is the most interesting and entertaining part of the film. The plus points are of course the excellent visuals, the excellent almost perfect final twist, the brisk pace and the thoughtfulness from start to finish. If you like detective stories, this one is not to be missed. 85% ()
