Gerry is asked by Principal Callaghan to act as staff liaison to the student council. Left without a reasonable option to refuse and thinking that it will be an easy task, Gerry agrees. He quickly learns that the incumbent student council president, Natalie, is a real keener and that her expectations for his time and involvement with the council are much bigger than what he is willing to give. With the threat of losing his free time, Gerry decides to try to convince Jimmy to run for president in an attempt to dethrone Natalie once and for all. The student council elections are also an annual source of stress for Robert as he tries to quash an annual, anonymous campaign to elect baseball legend Roberto Alomar. Lisa finds out the hard way that the new school librarian, Emma, has some strict new rules for the library. (CBC Television)
