English Trauma is Dario Argento’s first Hollywood opus and it’s not bad at all. It’s a respectable, made-to-order compromise for those who demand a plot that makes sense while also having a taste for a veil of mystery and psychedelic masochism. ()

English The ending of the film is presented in a rather uninteresting way, which is quite a pity. The story then feels terribly drawn-out, and there isn't even any significant surprise because the logic of the whole story simply falters. The main character, the man who investigates everything, isn't very likable, and I found his approach and personality rather off-putting. Nevertheless, Trauma has some elements that make it interesting and do not make it a mediocre film. ()
