English Trauma is Dario Argento’s first Hollywood opus and it’s not bad at all. It’s a respectable, made-to-order compromise for those who demand a plot that makes sense while also having a taste for a veil of mystery and psychedelic masochism. ()

English The ending of the film is presented quite unexcitingly, which is quite a shame. The story then unfolds terribly draggingly and there is no significant surprise here, because the logic of the whole story is simply flawed. The main character, a man who investigates everything, is not very pleasant and I was rather bothered by his approach and personality. "Trauma" still has some elements that can captivate and thanks to them it is not an average film. ()
