I've never played the computer game, so this movie was a big unknown for me. In the end, it's a story-driven average fantasy film with unremarkable animation that wasn't always 100%, but I liked the look of the dragons a lot. At times I was quite annoyed by the character of Cassandra, but I've also experienced much more obnoxious animated characters. In short, a ninety-minute respite that doesn't offend, but doesn't surprise either - the story flows, you don't get bored, but it doesn't leave anything deeper
