Dark Times

These are really difficult times. It is a visually very interesting film that shows the power of gore, but also the power of the camera. When this is combined - and once handheld camera makes sense again - it becomes a quite enjoyable madness that doesn't stop and keeps going. True, there are slower moments, but they also have a meaning. The shot doesn't miss anything anymore. However, you still can't get rid of the feeling that "Dark Times" is just a taste of something bigger. (10/14/2014)
