The final episode sympathetically concluded the initially hesitant third season and references the historical figure Gaange Rolf, the founder of the Norman dynasty. While the Greeks came up with the Trojan horse, the Vikings managed with a Parisian coffin, and the result was essentially the same :-) Thanks to Oda's hobby, I also learned that hair removal has a really long tradition in France. The plan to take over Paris looks like something out of Ocean’s Eleven, but yeah, why not. There must be originality even in the Middle Ages. The touching confessions and the moment of surprise are delightful. ()
