A remarkable film-lecture on the art and ideas of legendary Austrian avant-garde filmmaker and theoretician Peter Kubelka. The main axis of this expansive film consists of reflections upon the subject of “what is cinema” and “cooking as an art form”, augmented by samples from Kubelka’s collections. Director Martina Kudláček, a graduate of Prague’s FAMU, spent several years shooting a film that presents biographical fragments as a reflection upon the phenomenon of cinema.
