School director Andjelko lives an orderly life. He supports a family of four, believes in a bright future and looks up to comrade Tito. He also offers help to his fellow men – he can falsify diplomas and certificates so that they are indistinguishable from originals, and provides them to those in need, which increases their chance to get a job. After this is discovered and he is sentenced, his attitudes toward life face a difficult trial. Goran Markovic's tragicomedy reveals the social conditions of troubled Yugoslavia of the late 1960s and the crisis of Tito's regime with bitter irony. The film is based on a theatrical play that was also directed by Goran Markovic. (Febiofest)
