Old Shatterhand, played by Lex Barker, and his faithful Indian friend Winnetou go forth to help Fred Engel recover a treasure map from evil Colonel Brinkley. Colonel Brinkley, played by Herbert Lom of Pink Panther fame, murdered Fred's father in cold blood, and now he and his band of thieves, the Tramp gang, are out to find the hidden Indian treasure first.
