A German couple meets their son upon his return from Afghanistan. The tension among the protagonists is apparent, but when Daniel and his parents come home to have dinner, the strange atmosphere overpasses the boundaries of not only normalcy, but of reality itself. And this peculiar story soon starts again. In his artwork, video-artist Omer Fast focuses on the transformations of ephemeral human experience into memory and narration, and this surreal drama develops this approach. Concentrating on war experience and the resulting traumas, it proves that the difference between film and video art today, lies only in the preferred screening venue, be it either a gallery or a cinema.
