English This time, Thor and Valkyrie face a threat no less dangerous than in Ragnarok, and they have to deal with the fact that they don't know whom they can trust. The latest Men/Women in Black may look nice, but there's no real twist in those two hours and you don’t get proper action or humour, either. The film flies by, as do its protagonists, but you mostly care how they actually end up, the whole thing lacks any major potential and drive. Even Emma Thompson's tiny role as the amazing Emma Thompson doesn't help. Too bad! ()

English Young agent M and British veteran H must join forces to stop a threat that wants to destroy the entire planet. And so they travel between London, New York, Africa and Paris. And it’s boring. The new Men in Black lacks wit, ideas, a clever story and interesting protagonists. And they have nothing to offer either fans of the franchise or casual fans of great sci-fi comedies. A useless film. ()

English I’m unable understand how it's possible for the director of Law Abiding Citizen, Straight Outta Compton and Fast and Furious 8 can make such a sterile and uninteresting borefest. The film doesn't offer interesting visuals or action, the acting is alright, but Chris Hemsworth overacts quite a bit and the humor works rather infrequently. I really don't know what went wrong, but Men in Black: International comes across as second or third rate compared to what normally goes to the cinemas. 40%. ()

English Even Men in Black II is a slightly better film, because this is a misery in even more ways, above all lacking not only a clever story, clever humor, twists, or interesting characters, but any attempt at all to be anything more than a summer spectacle for fans of Chris Hemsworth in the uninteresting role of the sexy dork. I wasn't bored from the very beginning, as Tessa Thompson's character looked promising, only to gradually become less and less interested in the whole thing until I suddenly noticed that I didn't care at all. I don't need another installment... And I didn't really need this one either. It's as if they’ve forgotten that it's more than just suits, aliens, and Danny Elfman's music that make Men in Black. Too bad they didn't continue the retro story with a young Agent K played by Josh Brolin, who definitely had the chops for it. ()

English An absolutely superfluous sequel which only shares the name with the original trilogy. It also shares Emma Thompson as the head of the organization, whose name also happens to be the same, to my bewilderment. To make the movie more interesting, Hollywood created a new, totally improbable duo, in which the supposedly safe bet – Chris Hemsworth –  has no space to be properly funny, and his fairer half Tessa Thompson just sort of exists in the movie. Unfunny, boring, without invention – in short an unnecessary sequel whose only purpose is to make money. ()
