I love Greek myths and this has nothing to do with them. It's historically a mixture of Greek, Roman, and possibly even some Egyptian history. As for the story, it takes only the names of some characters from mythology, but their stories are told completely differently. Primarily, it's simply an action spectacle that quite impressed me in some places. But overall, it's just terrible. Why couldn't it have been about a fictional hero instead? It would still be a bad film, but at least it wouldn't ruin a character I love. ()
