The Way You Wanted Me

Teuvo Tulio's melodrama is full of features so typical for this genre: theatrical dialogues, vaguely motivated characters, unnatural acting and ubiquitous pompous music. The film's moralising message combines with unusually naturalistic elements that would suit Émile Zola's novels. (Summer Film School)
