Loxoro

Makuti, a middle aged single mother, is desperately looking for her 19-year-old daughter Mia. Mia went out one night to work in the streets and never came back. Makuti searches Mia from the streets and "cantinas", but she finds nothing but more questions. Makuti and Mia are not like any other mother and daughter: they both are transsexual women. Loxoro is a journey that goes beyond barriers in order to reveal a world as marginated as it is unknown but at the same time, familiar. (Tampere Film Festival)
