Although it pretends to be a simple report on the work of one specific postwar national committee, at the same time the film reflects the angry postwar anti-German sentiments, whose rhetoric is filled with extreme anti-German condemnation and support for their complete expulsion.
In juxtaposing the wartime past and the present day, the film depicts the occupation through expressive visuals of fluttering Swastika banners, set against images of the Protectorate-era resistance: from the printing of illegal literature to partisan fighting.
