HALF OF A YELLOW SUN is an epic love story set in Nigeria that weaves together the lives of four people swept up in the turbulence of war. The story is based on best selling novel of the same name by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and from the producers of The Constant Gardener and The Last King of Scotland. The film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Thandie Newton (The Pursuit of Happyness) and Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls, No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency) and is directed by Biyi Bandele.
