The season finale started off well. However, the turning point came with Angus's followers attacking the barricades, and from then on, the episode leaned heavily into melodrama. Major Lillywhite got an unexpected career boost, but the hardest blow was the wedding. WTF? It's rare to see something as painfully obvious as that wedding gift. I often say I like that this show doesn't require too much thinking, but this was just too much.
