Treasure of the Future

The documentaries from the Treasure of the Future series were made for the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the University of Iceland and aim to present the University’s scientific research. Local scientists take part in a wide variety of research subjects, most notably topics connected to Iceland and its immediate surroundings. These topics include research into dendritic cells, free radicals and anti-oxidants. We can see fish reproduction, the uses of omega-3 fatty acids and the impact of exhaust emissions on marine life. The results of these research initiatives are presented by students and leading professionals in the field. (Academia Film Olomouc)
