A suggestive black-and-white film Barcode 3.0 by Adriaan Lokman draws the viewer into an imaginary landscape of lights and shadows pervaded by endless rows of identical bars. The film is a fascinating flight through this symmetric space with plenty of shadow play. In the main competition it represents abstract, non-narrative animation. (Anifilm)
