Plots(1)

This documentary feature film is set in a two-storey villa, where three generations live together representing four different scales of values and views of life. The poet feels poetry is not enough and wants to edit a cultural magazine. Thus the quarrels become chronic between him and his psychologist wife, who is worried about their peace. His twenty-year-old niece only lives for dancing and is not attracted by public life, nor by the family. The ninety-two-year-old Daddy works on his memoirs facing history and tries to defend Vanda. With his death the seeming peace of the family and the house decays. The dancer and the poet step out of this closed space and the binding relations. Vanda stays and in her loneliness, keeps her traditional set of values. (official distributor synopsis)
