After weeks of traveling through Europe, the immature William finds himself at a crossroads in Copenhagen. Not just another beautiful European city, Copenhagen is also the birthplace of his father. When William meets pretty local girl Effy, they set off on an adventure to find his grandfather. Effy's mix of youthful exuberance and wisdom challenges William like no woman ever has. As the attraction builds and William finds himself truly connecting with someone for the first time in his life, he comes to this realization: if the girl of your dreams is half your age, maybe it's time to grow up! English After a long time a film where I ended up relating so much to the characters that I would love to go with them and sit somewhere, or for a drink, or to have a chat. A nice movie about a nice town, emotional and melancholic. Great soundtrack. ()

English If you’re planning to go on a trip to Copenhagen, I highly recommend watching this movie beforehand. It’s a sort of a guide through the city that shows all kinds of things you can do there. And the director has skillfully incorporated it all into a story with actors who go through an amazing transition throughout the movie. The main character is an American who’s searching for his family in the city and from the beginning, he looks like a typical jackass, but he turns into quite a charming dude whom you’ll end up liking so much that he makes you melt like a candle. The title track “Vi to er smeltet sammen” by Stoffer og Maskinen is a truly masterful piece. I can’t get enough of it, and the same goes for the movie. ()
