During a post-Christmas play date, the Toy Story gang find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. Ideas, playfulness, wit... Pixar. Moreover, unlike Hawaiian Vacation, this short doesn't feel like an ordinary cut scene, but is nicely self-contained, with a whole new story and a host of new characters (the Christmas cat angel on the tree is the best), and I'd say it's watchable even by someone who (for reasons unimaginable) knows nothing about Toy Story.

This animated series gets me every time. That's the beauty of childhood, the age when we play with toys that are more than just expensive things. They are our companions. And here it's beautifully demonstrated again, plus it's sometimes really funny, and surprisingly, this time it also has an original idea.

An excellent prehistoric treat starring dinosaurs in love. Fun, playful, original, and the final twist with the cat is brilliant.
