Waiting Mathilda

Mathilda is waiting for her sister by an escalator. During the sister's ascent, Mathilda has a vision of two girls locked in a surreal standoff. To the repetitive sounds of the escalator, this standoff is intermingled with visions in flux. Here paradoxically movement as well as stasis prevent the sisters from meeting. Yet, when Mathilda and her sister finally face each other on the elevator's peak, the stand-off comes to it's conclusion. (FamuFest)
