Christ’s last days of fasting in the desert as he walks back to civilization. In the midst of the harsh landscape, fatigued and hallucinating, Christ is met by the Devil, who is eager to test and tempt the weary traveler. First of all, I realize that I like religious stories less and less, even those that realistically depict the character of Jesus, albeit with a touch of fantasy, as is the case in this film. However, the fantasy element comes from the attempt to delve into his soul. Secondly, this film is simply artistic boredom. And that's all.
