Entre deux eaux

János, a fisherman, and his wife and son live by a big river. The waters wash ashore a woman, a mystic and beautiful woman. János and his family give her shelter. Anada, the young woman, now living in János's house seems to ruin the family life of the young man. He cannot get his nerves and senses under control. He is about to leave his family, but does not feel brave enough to do it. Finally, he decides to poison his wife, but at the last moment he regains his spiritual balance, becoming unable to give the poisoned drink to his wife.
