English I have to admit that the title of the series, (fdp), is exactly the reason, why I gave it a chance. And it needs to be added that in the end it was pretty easy to stick with the thirteen episodes. This Brazilian series could be easily comparable to the Czech Okresní přebor. Only the humor is a bit different but that has to be reckoned with since the screenplay to this series was written on the opposite side of the world. Still, I had a nice time watching it and besides, I almost immediately got used to the characters. It was easy to get used to the chief referee. It was even easier to get used to the actresses. I don’t know how the Brazilians do it, but they have some real beauties in the filmmaking industry. As for the story in itself, I was surprised by the level of professionalism with which they were able to film the scenes of Juarez Gomes Silva refereeing matches. It is really as if 40 thousand extras were joining the shooting just to applaud for their favorite clubs. Nevertheless, if you can stick till the end, the series will award you with a well-done football finale, which includes everything we are cursing in our league. Police terror, pyrotechnics in the field, maladjusted fans and bribery. Who’s the winner? That’s what you will find out only after you watch this series. I was really satisfied. ()
