This type of story will never get old. On the contrary, it will always be pleasant to watch. Then it’s only about whether the music, characters, and location of the movie are right for you. Well, and since I watched films in a similar vein and gave them 5 stars, I will give this one “only” four stars. Nevertheless, they are very solid four stars that shine very brightly in the realm of Irish cinema. ()
A beautiful musical that succeeded in capturing a period in which Ireland is presented with its problems, although not comprehensively. Above all, it is a good musical film. The music here will surely captivate you. However, when it comes to the plot, it simply couldn't impress me; it felt too clichéd. ()
