Downhill

In the name of the principles of great friendship, a university student takes upon himself the blame for his schoolmate's misdemeanour. The expulsion from the university is a mere start and the social bottom the necessary end of his tragic fate. The role of the main character is played, same as in The Lodger, by the idolised Ivor Novello. (Summer Film School)
