This film served the anti-Semitic ideology and propaganda of the official political course. The hero of this 1938 story is Takács Péter, a talented but neglected engineer. As a result of the speech delivered by Gömbös, which upsets the life of the entire country, changes are expected even in the plant where he works. The new management, led by the old gentleman, Kály Zsiga, are the puppets of the old leadership. The old, experienced team leads the newly appointed dilettantes by their nose, and the assets of the company are sent to the London bank account of the dismissed director, Szegő Lipót. A police investigation starts, and when Kály understands what has happened, he dies of a heart-attack. The old management is arrested. A ministerial commissioner arrives at the plant, who appoints Takács Péter to be the new technical director. (official distributor synopsis)
