The Reprimand

Fifteen-year-old Jakub lives with his mother and his younger brother at the projects. Jakub doesn't want to accept the new family situation caused by recent divorce of his parents. It's shortly after Christmas and the boys are sent to go shopping for a New Year's traditional lunch — the lentil. As he misses his father, Jakub hates the idea even more when he finds out that mother's new boyfriend is going to join them at the family table. But his brother wants everybody to be happy. (FamuFest)
