Divers at Work on the Wreck of the "Maine"

Five films were made about the Spanish-American War, but only this one survives. After the explosion of the American battleship Maine (April 1898), the United States intervened against Spain in Cuba, the Philippines and off the island of Guam. This film documents the recovery of the bodies of sailors from the wreck. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
