The Human Jungle

This good low-budget cop movie stars Merrill as a police captain about to quit the force to become a lawyer. Instead, however, he accepts a challenge from his superiors to clean up the department's worst district. Merrill is met with stiff opposition from the criminal element, as well as the corrupt members of his own force.
