The secret world of moths is an adventure into the lives of butterflies and bugs that takes the viewers from the equator to the arctic circle. The film utilises 3D x-ray tomography in order to examine insects at a microscopic level. The filmmakers have used a great amount of both Finnish and international research on the physiology, ecology and evolution of moths. (Savonlinna International Nature Film Festival)
