Digital nomadism is a growing trend which provides a practical solution to increasing workloads and a lack of holidays. A digital nomad is a person who uses modern technologies to work in a way that allows them to move freely around the world. They might be a freelancer, an employee or a businessperson. But what does digital nomadism actually look like and what do you need to become a digital nomad? This film tells the story of five successful digital nomads from Germany. The director himself inquires about their lifestyles, and wonders whether it would be suitable for him. Working online changes people's daily routine as they are no longer confined to one place or limited by set working hours, and also influences their personal lives. Where do these travellers consider their home to be? Are they successful in maintaining relationships? Nowadays, digital nomadism is so popular that in the future this form of work could affect the makeup of our society as a whole. (Academia Film Olomouc)
