Omar and Esperanza come back to Monterrey after a doctoral stay in Quebec, making emotional and economic efforts to remain in México, yet work comes up in Texas. In the face of the insecurity and the terror that rules the roads in the north of the country, Omar will have to drive the border roads, facing his past, his violent present and the future of his family and country.
