Vampirina (2017)

English A very nice new Disney (Junior) series. It's sort of Addams Family for kids, and if you're still young mentally, you'll have fun even at an older age. I loved Vampirina right away, I'd pretty much even flip through the original "Vampirina Ballerina" books that Disney based them on. ()

Season 1 (2017) (S01)

English Vampirina is a very original spectacle within the Disney Junior original series. The films are always made up of two ten-minute episodes, each episode working with a sympathetic song, a reverse humor that builds on the similarities between Transylvania and Pennsylvania. A natural dose of education in soft skills and plenty of wordplay is a given. The kids will have fun, the creatives less so, and that’s that. When I compare it to shows like Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, The Lion Guard, Elena of Avalor, The Puppy Dog Pals, and Fancy Nancy, I'm at peace. Because Vee leaves them far behind. ()

Going Batty / Scare B&B (2017) (S01E01)

English A magical introduction to a new gently spooky series from Disney Junior. We meet the title character and see her adaptation to her new environment. After all, Transylvania is not the same as Pennsylvania. The second (half) episode is also excellent, with the theme of a haunted hotel in the home of a vampire family. ()

Vee's Surprise Party / Vee Goes Viral (2017) (S01E03)

English Vee has adapted quite well to the habits of her human friends, but she still manages to scare them rather than entertain them. ()

Little Terror / Super Natural (2017) (S01E05)

English More super cute adventures of Vee and co. This time, among other things, they get a little Nosferatu (or Nosi) to look after. ()

Vee Is for Valentine / Scarestitute Teacher (2018) (S01E15)

English Vampirina and her friends Poppy and Bridget are a complete team. They're not even distracted by the substitute teacher from Transylvania. The first (half) part was also published in book form as "Vee Is For Valentine" in The Golden Collection of Fairy Tales No. 125. ()
