A taciturn farce that is presented as a game: the setting, a castle. The characters, a jaded family sold by the patriarch, along with the castle, to Professor Stein (Frankenstein’s great-grandson). The catalysts, two substances: Resurrectine and Vitalium, which send you into a deep sleep or wake you up. Thanks to them, Stein uses the family’s sleeping bodies as “recipients” for his dead ancestors, whom he invokes scientifically through their DNA. The dice fall, the game begins: multiple personalities and eras become entangled in a jumble of amorous conflicts that are both hundreds of years old and very human. (Seville European Film Festival)
