Johnny Crawl

A half-naked man, covered in white paint and wearing a black wig, crawls in the streets of Manila. Rather than a human being he reminds us of a centipede or a lizard, or a completely otherworldly being that amuses and disquiets. Roxlee releases his “crawler”, a phantom which embodies the anonymous souls of those who vanished without a trace under the Marcosʼs regime. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
