The Cricket

Summer is hot in a Mediterranean Argentinean city. Two women take shelter inside a house where they remain voluntarily imprisoned and completely detached from the outside. The rooms of the house are fresh but they are also too dark to spend the whole summer in them. Their only visitor is a lover who helps them taking care of the garden sporadically. One of these women is a renowned underground-theater actress who is preparing a monologue for the opening of her next play. The other woman spends her time looking for her exotic strayed cat while she remembers about her deceased husband. Then, a terminal disease finds them there, trying to inhabit that place once again.
