May the wind be with you is about 4 sportsmen who join forces to combine their different sport passions in the wilderness of Norway: snowkiting, skiing, speedflying, skitouring and climbing. After two unsuccessful tries to kite up high mountains in Alaska, Sebastian decides to try yet again and convinced Philip and his two friends Tobi and Maxi to come with him. Back in 2012 and 2014, Sebastian, Philip and friends launched two large expeditions in Alaska but both attempts to snowkite up preselected peaks failed due to bad weather. In 2017 Sebastian and his friends tried again - this time in the far north of Norway. Much of the area is yet to be explored by snowkiters and the steep mountain faces make it a more challenging territory compared to the rolling hills of the Hardangervidda plateau. A decision was made to explore the Lyngen Alps east of Tromso city and the Lofoten Islands. Rather than preselecting a peak before the trip, the team wanted to stay flexible on the ground based on prevailing wind conditions. Flexibility was important, as the team quickly got all sort of situations to deal with: rain, bad weather, unsuccessful attempts and melting snow. Over the three weeks they went from Lyngen down to the Lofoten, where they finally got the wind and conditions they were looking for... (Hory a mesto)
