Soderbergh requires from the viewer at least a basic knowledge of what it is all about and who wants what, when the overseas league is suspended and a new collective agreement is being negotiated. If you are not familiar with the topic, you will get lost right in the opening scene. Otherwise, it's basically a cool backstage deceptive “heist without heist" / “behind the scenes of professional sport without sport" in a way of a more sophisticated feature version of the Suits episode, where you run from one corporate meeting room to another and here and there to the bar for white-collars only or otherwise corporate elevator.
