The documentary Alameda presents the social dynamics at the Alameda Mariano Escobedo park in Monterrey. At a stylistic level it explores the impressionist aesthetic concentrating on poetical images –without interviews or voice over- using an audiovisual meta-language to narrate the circumstances of the “maids” or domestic servants that work for the city’s high classes within the popular environment of the Alameda.
