Chema de la Peña, a director from Salamanca, describes in this documentary feature film the professional start in the eighties of filmmakers such as Fernando Colomo, Fernando Trueba, Imanol Uribe, Carmen Maura and Antonio Resines, protagonists of the so-called “new Spanish Cinema”. Their first films were produced among friends, outside the mainstream industry, with low budgets and the only purpose of having a good time… Surprisingly they resulted in huge successes with the critics and at the box-office. And also an authentic generation manifest. (Monterrey International Film Festival)
