Looking for Sunshine

This intimate profile follows Swiss skiing champ Lara Gut, whose competitive career began at fifteen. Winning her first World Cup medal at the prodigious age of seventeen and going on to claim the Alpine Ski World Cup Overall title in 2016, the film focuses on Gut’s fraught recovery journey after sustaining a critical injury at the peak of her career. Director Castelli is allowed candid access to Gut, having worked with her on previous projects such as Tutti Giù (2012). An inspiring celebration of an incredible skier wholly devoted to her craft.
