Prioritize:
Season 2 got more episodes or more space to portray the individual main characters. Carrie's relationship with Mr. Divine was transformed, and the failed side characters from Season 1 were forgotten. (What was the name of the guy Carrie set Miranda up with? Nobody knows.) The wedding episode was great, and there was also the cruel new breakup with Mr. Divine. Sex and the City has come into its own. Can Miranda really find herself in a relationship with someone so ordinary and honest? Charlotte and Samantha are still just fun dolls to play with. Later, it would not even be possible to place Charlotte in a story about a shoe fetish, for example. ()
