Lorelai and Max send sparks flying as they reestablish their relationship, while Luke and Rachel find their flame fizzling out. Rory has a run-in with Tristin, whose fibs trick Paris, Madeline, and Louise into being angry with Rory. Also, the younger Gilmore finally has her first conversation with Dean since their breakup.
