Bart's Comet (S06E14)

As punishment for a prank, Bart must assist Principal Skinner with his astronomy. He discovers a comet, which turns out to be on a collision course with Earth. Springfield residents pile into Ned Flanders' bomb shelter, but when there isn't enough room inside, they pile out - and watch the underwhelming comet destroy only the bomb shelter, nothing else.
