Beth Ann is elated when Rob ends his affair, but that feeling is short-lived when Beth Ann learns that everything is not as she thinks. While Simone and Karl work to find common ground in their relationship, conflict ensues as Naomi grows suspicious of Tommy's erratic behavior. I find myself surprisingly drawn to this series, despite its clear pro-feminist (or anti-male) stance. Perhaps it's because it doesn't shy away from critiquing its own side, which lends it a sense of balance. However, what really grabs my attention is its exceptional writing and direction.
